ICIS Welcomes Barriere as its 201st Member!

Since 2001 ICIS has been dedicated to achieving the shared vision of building an integrated spatial fabric covering the entire province of British Columbia. ICIS celebrates the signing of its 201st member into the society comprised of 140 Municipalities, 27 Regional & Improvement Districts, 15 Associate members, 7 First Nations groups comprising 21 nations, 7 BC Utilities and 5 Provincial Government Ministries.

The goal of achieving 100% participation of all local governments and regional districts in BC is virtually complete. The contributed parcel land coverage now represents 95% of the province.

ICIS continues to strive towards a complete spatial fabric by encouraging the small number of remaining local governments to become members and benefit from the significant value proposition achieved by collaboratively contributing and sharing spatial data.
