The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) has received $10,000 in CivicSpatial funding to help align their parcel base with more accurate ortho images. Air photos purchased through a collaborative effort of municipalities within the RDOS will help improve the quality of the cadastral base over the more than 10,000 square kilometres of the RDOS. The aligned parcels will also tie into new development and will indicate where improvements to the existing base should occur.
