Statistics and Metadata

ICIS tracks data volume and vintage statistics for municipal parcel data, the Integrated Cadastral Fabric and BC Assessment parcels and folios. Users can access these statistics on a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction basis by querying the STATUS layer in the public and member web maps, where they appear as attributes of administrative area polygons.

The count attribute sums the number of records in the selected jurisdiction; the date attribute describes when the data was most recently loaded to the ICIS database, typically within one to two weeks of its receipt from a member. The date value will not change if a subsequent data load contains the same number of records as the previous load. The date value is thus intended to indicate change, but does not necessarily reflect the business currency of the underlying information, which may or may not have been current when it was provided to ICIS.

File metadata may be associated with the data files on the SharePoint portal if it has been provided by the contributing member.
