Complete Communities User Conference | Cranbrook
The Integrated Cadastral Information (ICI) Society is excited to conduct in-person Complete Communities User Conferences this winter. Register today to learn about the Complete Communities Initiative being developed by the Province. The Initiative includes a $10M funding program, a Complete Communities Guide, and data to support geospatial assessments.
Why Complete Communities?
Creating more complete communities can support many community goals, including those connected to housing, climate, transportation, fiscal sustainability, servicing, and infrastructure.
Attendees will learn about conducting spatial assessments of their community’s current – and potential future – built form to better understand the strengths, opportunities, and challenges to creating more complete communities. The Conferences will also demonstrate how different types of data used in conducting these assessments has the potential to support evidence-based decision-making and inspire action that integrates housing development with transportation options and other amenities, with consideration of servicing costs.
Registration is free but limited – reserve your spot soon!
The Complete Communities User Conferences are open to staff from local governments and First Nations governing bodies from various departments, including planning, GIS, engineering, finance and asset management.
